ABOUT ROBIN:

Meet Robin, our awesome Wing Foiling Instructor joining the WA SURF team this season.

Robin joins us with a strong background in wind sports and a genuine passion for teaching. Originally from Germany, he started windsurfing at twelve and switched to wing foiling around three years ago. Always inspired by watersports, Robin began with rowing but soon decided it was time to get faster - that’s when he started exploring other water sports like windsurfing and wing foiling.

He holds an IWO Instructor License and has spent the past few years teaching both windsurfing and wing foiling. For Robin, instructing is the best way to stay on the water and share the stoke with others.

Robin loves seeing his students progress and build confidence, describing wing foiling as a skill that can bring “more balance into people’s lives.” When he’s not teaching, he’s working on perfecting his frontside 360s.

His tip for beginners? Take your time and don’t stress about progressing — even the bad days teach you something. Consistency is the key!
